The project

Between November 2014 and April 2016, Pro Vobis (Romania) is implementing the project “Wake-Up Call: Volunteer Manager Role” in partnership with SMART Association for Civil Society Development (Croatia), National Volunteering Center ÖKA (Hungary), Platform of Volunteer Centers and Organizations (Slovakia) and National Volunteering Center BRĪVPRĀTĪGAIS.LV (Latvia), within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2 (Strategic partnerships in the field of youth).

The aim of the project is to raise the quality of the volunteer management process by creating an occupational standard for the volunteer manager, developing quality standards for the management of volunteers, developing a training curricula for volunteer managers and developing a procedure and tools for the validation of the competences of volunteer managers.

The project includes activities that facilitate cooperation and exchange of resources, information and good practice between the 5 partners, national dissemination events in each of the partner countries, as well as an international conference organised with the support of CEV – The European Volunteer Center.
