S. Smith and Littau, 1960; Copeland, 1964). The choroid plexus has infoldings of the "basal" surface adjacent to the aqueous humor (Pease, 1956; Holmberg, 1957). Of special interest are the extrarenal glands for salt secretion which have developed especially in marine animals.
