This postcard view shows the block between Jefferson and First Streets. Trips to Muskegon ended in the depot yard on Seventh Street and Western Avenue. Cars were stored here between trips. In the distance is the Muskegon shop building, which was used to inspect cars and make minor repairs. Substantial repairs were always made at the main shop building in Fruitport. 45 In 1913, the GRGH&M built a station in Spring Lake. The stucco building stood at the corner of Jackson and Savage Streets. A separate freight house, not visible in this image, stood behind the building.

Each week, a priest took a car from Grand Haven to the church to say the mass. 40 Car No. 8 stands in front of the station in Nunica. Since the interurban cars passed through Nunica on private right of way rather than using the city street, the cars did not switch from third rail to overhead power. The third rails are evident on both the main line and on the station siding. Sidings were used at stations and other locations to allow cars to pass or to unload freight without blocking the main line.

Passengers who waited for the first Grand Trunk train between Grand Haven and Grand Rapids would not arrive until mid-morning and would have connected to later trains. The GRGH&M did not build a passenger station in Grand Rapids. Instead, the company used a ticket office and waiting rooms in existing commercial buildings. From 1902 until 1912, the waiting room was located at 81 Lyon Street. In 1912, the location was moved to new quarters in the Houseman Building at the corner of Lyon and Ionia Streets.
