MEASURING AND CONTROL SYSTEM The temperature inside the furnace chamber was measured by resistance thermometry with the use of an automatic AC double bridge (Automatic Systems Laboratories) with an accuracy of + 4 parts in 10"? and a sensitivity of 1 part in 10~ 7 . In our case this means a temperature accuracy of 2 x 10" 3 °C and a sensitivity of 5 x 10 °C.
